Emirates Driving Institute has trained its driving instructors and technical staff following the syllabus administered by Automobile Association Developments Limited of the United Kingdom.
The Emirates Advanced Driving Course offers post-license courses like Defensive Driving, Desert Driving, and Driver Skill Refresher courses to the UAE residents with valid a UAE driving license.
Another path-breaking initiative of EDI is the first Disabled Driver Training Programme in Dubai for people who are unable to drive using foot pedals. This training course is delivered using hand-controlled adapted vehicles.
Emirates Driving Institute received the ‘Best Driving School-2012’ award from RTA in March 2013. In 2016 EDI was awarded 'Best Service Provider' by RTA in the Tastahel Awards
EDI became OHSAS 18001:1999 certified in the year 2006 and it is the first driving school in the world to get the ISO accreditation since 1997. In the year 2002 EDI won the Dubai Quality Award (DQA) in the Professional Services Sector which was presented by H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai. In 2015, EDI won DQA in the service sector.

Holder of a valid UAE Light & Heavy Forklift Driving license for min. 3 years
Additionally, a holder of UAE LMV driving license
Should be within the age group of 25- 40 years.
Have good communication skills (English is mandatory).

⭕️Male Motorcycle Riding Instructor
Valid UAE Motorcycle riding license of minimum 3 years and UAE LMV driving license
Should be within the age group of 25- 40 years.
Good communication skills (English is mandatory, other languages are an advantage).
⭕️Male Driving Instructor – Heavy Bus & Heavy Truck.
Hold a valid UAE HVB & HVT driving license for minimum 3 years
Should be a holder of UAE LMV driving license
Should be within the age group of 25- 40 years.
Have good communication skills (English is mandatory).
Hindi/Urdu, languages preferred.
⭕️Male Instructor – Motorcycle
Valid UAE MOT riding license min. 3 years old
Additionally, should also have a valid UAE LMV license
Should be within the age group of 25- 40 years.
Good communication skills (English is mandatory, other languages are an advantage).
⭕️Female Motorcycle Riding Instructor
Valid UAE motorcycle riding license
Should be within the age group of 25- 40 years.
Good communication skills (English is mandatory, other languages are an advantage).
⭕️Female Driving Instructor – Car
Valid UAE car driving license (3 years minimum)
Should be within the age group of 25- 40 years
Have good communication skills (English is mandatory)
Malayalam, Hindi/Urdu, Russian, and Arabic speakers preferred.
⭕️Male Driving Instructor – Car
Hold a valid UAE car manual driving license for minimum 3 years
Should be within the age group of 25- 40 years.
Have good communication skills (English is mandatory).
Hindi/Urdu, Malayalam, Arabic, Filipino, and Chinese languages preferred.
