NAME OF THE POST - Business Development Manager - Value Concept
About the job Will be responsible for managing the procurement process and developing value concepts to drive cost savings and efficiency within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement value concepts to drive cost savings and improved efficiency across the procurement process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, including conducting regular supplier evaluations and audits
- Lead the procurement process, including issuing RFQs, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to management on procurement performance and cost savings initiatives. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. -Proficiency in procurement and supply chain management systems and tools.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-year plus experience in developing and leading key value chains in UAE.
- Bachelor's degree in business , supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and supplier management, with a strong understanding of value concept development. -Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulations related to procurement ,stock and supplier management.
